John Cairns is a photographer, specialising in portraits and professional headshots.

Johnson Beharry is one of only 5 living recipient of the Victoria Cross (and the first living recipient for 30 years). Twice in 2004 he rescued wounded comrades from ambushes in Iraq and was cited for 'valour of the highest order'. He required brain surgery after sustaining serious head injuries in the second ambush. -

In case you missed it, Steve is quite keen on West Ham. He entered football folklore 20 years ago at a pre-season friendly between West Ham and Oxford City. After a first half involving a couple of pints and quite a bit of heckling, then manager, Harry Rednapp, asked “oi, can you play as good as you can talk?” In borrowed kit he played the second half and scored. “It was like time stopped still – it was the greatest moment of my life”.
